Outkast question: should I just give in and buy 'Hey Ya' as a single, or is the rest of the relevant album comparably awesome?

I got the album for Christmas, but haven't listened to the whole thing yet. If you want 'Hey Ya' you can copy it from me. Hell, you can copy the whole album if you like.
Hell, you can copy the whole album if you like.

That would be doubleplusgood. :)
BUY THE ALBUM STOP OUTKAST AWESOME STOP
Somehow, I thought you'd like them. Don't know whether I was just guessing, or whether you've mentioned them before...
Couldn't say if I've mentioned them, but certainly not recently at least. If you're wanting original hip hop/r&b, you cannot do better than outkast.
Plus you can shake your ass to it :)
Plus you can shake your ass to it.

The world does not need me shaking my ass.
The world always needs ass shaking. We may not have to always see it, but I think it needs to be done.
If an ass shakes in a forest and nobody's there to see it...?
Does the tree still make a sound?
I'm betting it goes BOOM BOOM SHAKE SHAKE THE ROOM.
Buy the (insert link of the stories I was reading the other day but cannot find here now) best album of the year (/end link), you mean?

BUY IT. Although possibly reassure me that Alicia Keys (what'd you think of that, by the way?) and this are just slight side-steps away from the Indie... I worry :)
I'll clear up that Indie thing Real Soon Now.

And that's how I'm going to do all my links from now on. :-D
I meant to say this to you last week, but forgot.

If you like Alicia Keys (*shudder*) then you might like Joss Stone. She does a cover of the White Stripes' 'Fell In Love With A Girl' which is actually quite niftily done (and I really don't like soul music).
I'll keep an ear out. Ta. :)
I like it in the clubs in large parties to dance with - but I personally wouldn't buy it. It's better in the club then sitting at home on my shelf. Same goes with "Shut Up" by Black Eyed Peas, and that Blu Catrell featuring Sean Paul song.
